The Victoria Royals Hockey Club are in partnership with several unions, including Teamsters Local Union No. 464, and will be hosting a union night during their game on Sunday, January 29th vs. the Vancouver Giants.

In honouring unions across B.C., the Royals will be selling game tickets to union members for only $13 per person.  Tickets may be purchased online at selectyourtickets.com/promo using the promo code UNION, or by calling Cameron at the Royals' Promotional Department directly at (250)-220-2637.

As a co-sponsor of the event, we will be giving away 6 pairs of tickets to the hockey game. If you are interested please contact our office by phone, fax, email or via our website and provide your name, contact number, or email address. Alternatively, you may also contact your Union Representatives.

All entries must be received by 12:00pm on Friday, January 20th. The winners will be contacted on the afternoon of the draw and their names will be posted on our website. Good luck to all those who enter!

Come on out in support of amateur sport and B.C. union labour, see you at the game!

Past Meetings

Testimonial

"I was a Shop Steward and was also on the contract negotiation team. The Union took the time and trouble to learn all about our industry and what we do. This means they are better able to fight for us whether it is on the job or at the bargaining table. We have the best contract in our industry. Thanks guys!"

- Gerald Price - Agrifoods

"I was there when we brought the Union in. The first-time contract they won for us was unbelievable. It changed the quality of my life. I am now a Shop Steward and enjoy working with my Union and looking after my fellow workers. "

- Paul Landrecht - Shop Steward. Island Farms Dairy.

"I have been a member of Teamsters Local 464 for 23 years and have seen many of the executives come and go. Some of the previous executives nearly ran the Local into bankruptcy including losing our pension.  Bobby Kornhass, Bob Ryder and Paul Barton brought us back from the brink. Since they took over in 2000, we at Dairyland (Saputo) have had the best contracts I have seen since I have been there."
