"I was there when we brought the Union in. The first-time contract they won for us was unbelievable. It changed the quality of my life. I am now a Shop Steward and enjoy working with my Union and looking after my fellow workers. "
Team BC PeeWees, a group of 12-year-old boys, represented British Columbia at the Canadian Nationals in Whitby, Ontario this past summer. After losing in the quarterfinals, to the eventual tournament winners, Six Nations, the boys defeated Team Alberta handily to capture bronze in their first ever National tournament.
Brother Nolan Balatti is the proud father of two of the participants and is very pleased with their accomplishment. Congratulations to Team BC PeeWee!!
